Great emphasis was placed on the home screen -- the idle screen, which is where almost every single activity on the device starts and ends.

For this we created sPlay - a revolutionary user interface designed to provide instant and shorter path to information and applications on the device.

sPlay is an ergonomic marvel, allowing instant, single-hand access to your data and applications, wrapped with amazing and unique graphical design.

Our on-screen QWERTY keyboard is the first step to speeding up the process.

The First ELSE incorporates a clever predictive keyboard that can accurately determine which letter you are aiming for, and save you time by helping you complete words with just a few letters.

Technology is supposed to make our lives easier. So, we used it to do just that - smart sensors were added to automatically facilitate the application you are using, without having to be prompted or activated.

For example, proximity sensors will auto-lock your device when placing it close to your ear in order to prevent pressing a key while talking on the phone.

Recording voice/sound should be as easy and immediate as taking a picture, otherwise, the "moment" might be long gone…
Whether you are recording a conversation, a bird's song or your kid's recital, just flip the First ELSE over and the camera button becomes the “record” button.

The First ELSE was designed to make your life easier. It boasts a powerful gesture engine that allows you to define your own gestures by simply drawing them on the screen and assigning operations to them – almost any operation you can imagine!

All you need to do is draw your gesture on the screen and your predefined operation is instantly performed – no more memorizing of intricate menu hierarchies.

Imagine having to access the latest messages to and from one particular person while trying to set up a meeting in your calendar.

By maintaining one central database, the First ELSE stores all your applications and their data in one spot regardless of the current application being used.

The First ELSE cleverly hides irrelevant technical details from you - the kind of stuff you don’t need to know about, yet other devices seem to keep asking you about it. Take the simple task of sending a message. Many devices will ask you how to send it: Is it an SMS? An MMS? An email message?

The First ELSE lets you focus on your life by handling such details for you in the background. Just type your message, select which contacts you want to send it to, and the First ELSE will automatically send the message for you. No questions asked, guaranteed…

Silent communication is an intuitive feature that allows you to check the urgency of an incoming call and inform the caller when you will be available to talk or return their call – all this without actually speaking to the caller or even sending an SMS!

The First ELSE requires only that you type your email address and password and your email account will be automatically configured for push email access, enabling instant use of your email account, directly from the device.

You no longer need to be an IT person to have mobile email with push capabilities!
